Thursday November 14th: 5:25pm - CTFS Team Picture - A picture is worth a 
Thousand Words and about 2points per end.!!!

And now the rest of the Story:

Dear Mike:  Your humility is truly great.. but honestly not needed today.
Oh yes it was the Clash of the Titans..unfortunately it was a  clash 
amongst our opponents to see which one of them could be the best and for 
us ..who could be the worst. We definetly took our turns in stumbling, 
bumbling and offering up a victory to our opponents like Stuffing at a 
Thanksgiving Dinner.  Their lead in deed only drank coffee, but only 
because she felt so sorry for kicking our ass so bad. And indeed the front 
end played well for 2 ends but unlike all of our weeks before (including 
yours), we stunk out the joint from the 3rd to the 8th.  Mike, a victory 
to us would have been going for beer at 6:30 and leaving our devestation 
behind.  You have no shame...please understand (FYI...they made me do it).

"To go on and on about our play would cause one of our members too much 
pain", yes very true,,, but it wasn't you, Mike. 
For the second time in a week, our opposition was throwing rocks through 
the house in the 8th end, signifiying...we suck, their good and the game 
is over. I felt bad in having to watch this happen but quite frankly, I 
didn't do anything to change the situation. We knew they were tough and we 
thought we started ok, but what happened after 2, I never want to see 
again.  I believe we took 3 ends (less than your game on Tuesday) and the 
score, well I don't remember. We were a disheartened group for sure,... 
more than one comment re: Pooch Poking was hurld our way. We have been 
playing nothing but top notch teams so far and quite frankly we have a 
couple more to go....but eventually we will start to meet the opposition 
that we need (crippled and blind).  "F" flight truly is within our grasp 
but I encourage the team to hang in there. We will all benefit from 
playing the top level teams...it's just , we will have to wait till the 
spring to reap the fruits of our harvest (not that there are fruits on the 
team..well, maybe  Mauro with his bunch of grapes). 

Take heart Mike, all the comments to you were only to hide our shame in 
ourselves.  It is a lot easier to pick on someone else....that is the CTFS way. 
We are Men with Brooms, We suck, but we all suck equally. 
PS. Bruce said he won't mind giving you a lick!!

ps. We are glad you are with us...so you are so predictable.....

I am trying my best and I don't need shots like this, I am just starting 
out in curling
and  this negative stuff is getting to me.

Thank you, thank you Mark....this truly was the Clash of the Titans. 
Steely determination permeated both teams before the game. It was clear 
our opposition had heard of our prowess and though suffering an earlier 
defeat in the week, knew it was highly unlikely to happen again.
And boy we didn't dissappoint. Despite the lack of a Team Supper, we came 
out on fire. The front end. led by the Niagara Falls Italian Stallion was 
pinpoint in his shots. Why even I was making them...surprise surprise.  
Clearly this upset this team. After the game their lead commented how poor 
her play was. She was visibly shaken as demonstrated by only being able to 
consume coffee. After all they were the first place team and who was this 
CTFS team who thought they would kick butt. The third and the skip are 
expected to make the shots, but when they saw the Stallion's game...they 
knew early this game would get out of hand. 
To go on and on about our play would cause one of our members too much 
pain but perhaps this will help his determination to overcome that 
hurdle...you know Mark..... We are Men with Brooms. Mark, it was my 
priviledge to buy you that beer....thanks for coming out. There will be no 
turning back from this point. The memory will be too strong, elevating us 
to even greater heights.

It may be  just a fluke that we lose when you play and win when I play
