Mark: 
Garth and Mike learned their lesson well from last weeks debauchery.(e.g. excessive drinking) 
Both showed up to curl with normal amount of alcohol in their bloodstream. 
Both Mauro and I commented that they seemed to curl better last week than this week. 

On to the game!!! 

Sparrow Lakes proved to be formidable opponent. 
Lots of age and experience. 
Their lead and 2nd were the equal or better of ours. 
Their 3rd (Marty) has many years of skipping under his belt. 
Their skip (mellencoff) has many years of skipping under his belt. 

When you add it all up it meant a 7-5 victory for S/L,(S/L took 2 in the eight) 

I will leave it up to Garth to fill in the details on Tuesday (yea,he is moving,I'am suprised that he didn't call you to move the heavy stuff,you know fall off the horse and get back on thinking)

p.s.I believe Mauro is contemplating a move into Management.(3 stratum 2's against 1 stratum 1,I like my odds) 

p.s.s.Hurry back as the good team moral that was hitting a high before last week could be in for a hit.I think Mauro was going to give Mike the stare.

Bruce.... 2 more weeks everything should be back to normal Mauro will have an 
another Italian(from Niagara Falls no less) by his side for protection 
and  the balance 1 stratum 2 against 3 stratum 1's should give 
us a  better balance for victory. You know 3 people who actually know how 
to work, you and Mauro must be ready for sometype of focus group where you can vent.   
Remember when Mike would say "blow me Mauro" now he says stuff like 
I see real synergies and benefits from being part of a team.
