Mark Pioli/CTAL/CTC 12/09/2004 02:15 PM INTERNAL ORGAN ANNOUNCEMENT It has been brought to my attention that Garth has been partaking in I.T. Goodie day. Add a couple of 4:00 o'clock beers in his stomach and we are on the verge of something terrible. The smell can potentially cause death but health officials say it is extremely rare Team mates hit should see a doctor urgently if they have symptoms such as a fever, chills, headaches, nausea, or muscle and joint pain. Garth McQueen 12/09/2004 02:19 PM I have this gurgling sound in my stomach. It reminds me of the ALIEN series. You don't think this has taken on bodily form?!!! I am worried Garth McQueen 12/10/2004 10:47 PM Mark: First of all let me say on behalf of the team, welcome back. It is always good to see the ethnic balance at play (that would be the hand gestures from both the front end and back of the sheet). Though our team has been quite successful, I have heard that a certain someone didn;t really wish you all that much good luck last night. Seems that Pride has taken a grip on his soul. I won't mention who but I am sure there is bitter taste with any M&M's this morning. First of all Mark, your Immediate Bulletin Board warning turned out to be not so much false but misdirected. I was saddened to see that someone tried to hide behind my reputation and proceeded to lower the boom ....and this was before the game even started. Bruce, you should be ashamed.... everyone knows I wait till the game is in progress and use it as a competitive advantage ..... SHAME....stand up and take accountability.....that's what Mike and I have been trying to teach you and Mauro. Lastly: as the scribe for the Pioli Papers, many have commented on what they have perceived to be embellishments of the events. With Mark's arrival last night, he was able to see for himself, all that I have been saying is TRUE.... The Game: CTFS 8 DainCity 6 Ends CTFS 5 Dain City 3 Lead 100% Second 110% Third 77% Skip 83% Yes, Mark ....the third and skip would have scored higher but as you noted during the game, the Shirley Temples they had before the game seemed to lighten there touch. Now I thought you went too far when you questioned whether they had auditioned for the Queer Eye show. They can throw heavy weight, but once again they were relegated into putting up guards for the wildly successful first four rocks. They are making progress so things look bright....please encourage them on. Obviously we wanted to make a statement right away....Mark had returned and needed to fit into the Winning Mind Set we have acquired. Bang Bang Bang (as Emeril would say) ....CTFS 3 in the first end. At that point the front end set the tone, time after time, after time after time till the end of the game..... where in disgust our opposition threw in the broom and rocks....folding l ike a cheap suit in a rain storm. There was never any doubt. It was interesting to see that there second used our old ploy...at the start of the eigth, he congrulated both Mark and I on a great game....oh yes, we knew right away what he was up to... We just had to run them out of stones to win or at the very least tie. Again the front end was masterful in doing their job and I could see the glee in our oppostion's eye when it was the backend's turn. Well sure enougth, before we turned around, they were sitting two with 2 rocks to go. Mark and I, as wily verterans, knew exactly what to do. Maruo was calling for a corner raise to try to steal the win....We knew better....Through professioal brushing we were able to deliver Mauro's first rock to the perfect guard position....CORRECT CALL ...and on the second attempt at the corner raise, we brushed our hearts out to ensure it stayed away from the guard, rendering it impactless to the end of the house. ...another CORRECT CALL. You see Mark, in the spring we will show up to see what flight we will end up in.....our superior vision, has taken care of the one end win that might potentially hurdle us into B flight........Oh Yes...that was the CORRECT CALL.. We have a lot of work ahead of us. Turning this victory locomotion around won't be easy. That drive for C is now an uphill fight....because I am not seeing a downhill slide. We will have to wait for Father Time to take his measure....if we keep this up we will be looking at the first A we've had since grade one.
