Garth McQueen/CTAL/CTC 03/04/2005 08:50 AM Subject Re: Pioli Papers - March 3 - Players Strike Edition Mark: On behalf of the team we appreciate your ability to look beyond the faults of the Team Management (that would be Skippy A & B). Their inability to communicate should not constitute your having to be neglected. However, as a by product of your actions a Hard Cap has been instituted by Ice Tea Management. The Cap reads as follows: "Any front end player consuming more than their weight in beer, will be assessed an Obese Tax. The weight will be determined by a one to one ratio of pounds (weight of player) to ounces (beer consumed). Tax will be assessed at the next team meeting at the Rex where they will be called upon to supply wings for everyone". Can you believe these guys Mark. The power they think they have, and just because they drink Ice Tea. Well, I will tell you, it will be tough getting down to 16 beers but I think I can do it. However, looks like Mikey will be paying for wings for the next 5 years. Now to get past the labour dispute. We played a fairly well positioned team last night. Their position was I think about 28 which meant there should of been a bigger challenge than the girls team. Well, I am not sure wether we just had the big MOmentum going or you were out to strut your stuff, but we played a fine game. Mark you were excellent and I kind of thought you would want to send a message to Mike,,,,well done. The game was well in control the entire night. I find myself repeating time after time, after time.. but it seems like deja vu again, but the front end played very well. Bruce had a shaky first end but came back and Mauro bounced between "running out of real estate to sitting on the freakin rock". It made for an interesting night. The score would have been much higher but their skip kept cutting our steal count down. Seems like we have shaken off last weeks dissappointment and are ready to end the last 2 games gunning for top 5. Stats: CTFS - 10 HotShots -2 Ends: CTFS - 7 HotShots-1 Lead - 85% Second 85% Third 85% Skip 84.774321% (that will screw up Mauro's terabyte table for sure) All in all it was a comfortable win. The next two games will be against some high rollers so we can start judging for next year. Breakfast will be a my place for Super Saturday so bring your brooms and help me clean the house. Mark Pioli/CTAL/CTC 03/04/2005 09:13 AM The "two free beer proposal - 1 bottle 1 draft" that was brought forward last night was accepted(consumed) and I am happy to be back. "Breakfast will be a my place for Super Saturday so bring your brooms and help me clean the house." I see Garth is already communicating future non scheduled events. Thanks Garth I think cinnamon buns will be a nice touch as a goodwill gesture. I think we should start with some Baileys in the coffee as well this might clean up Maruo's cold. Bruce Clark/CTAL/CTC 03/04/2005 09:19 AM Mark: As of the time of writing please be advised that there are no team or social functions scheduled until 03/10/2005 at approx. 17:00 hrs.,location Rex. I will keep you abreast of further developments as they arise. Please be advised that an offer was made to buy all of Garth's assets in order to end the impasse. A value was set and a collection was taken. The dispersal of $1.29 will be passed to Garth at month-end to avoid tax considerations.(see Mrs. Favero) Mark Pioli/CTAL/CTC 03/04/2005 09:25 AM Haven't Garth's ex wives already taken all of Garth's assets? $1.29 seems a bit much Garth McQueen/CTAL/CTC 03/04/2005 09:30 AM There goes the $1.29....but rest asuured I will be paying the tax hit. Bruce Clark/CTAL/CTC 03/04/2005 09:30 AM Mike: Please move your truck as it is blocking the hydrant. In the event of a fire stratum 2's as usually the first to go.
